Salute ! Hawker changing the life of slum kids

Fatehpur: Ramnarayan, a hawker by profession, is a cynosure of all eyes in this district town. Reason? He has taken up the task of teaching slum children. The number of students he taught grew gradually and has now reached 250- mark.

Belonging to an economically poor family himself he took up this assignment, on his own, because he believes that the terror-hit world can be changed through education alone.

He was drawn towards slum dwellers because he was a struggler himself. It was not easy for him to get two square meals a day at the early stage. Better placed now he teaches them in the evening after his day’s work. And he has been doing it for the last three years.
