Mumbai: The registration for Reliance JioPhone may have been halted for some time when it opened at 5.30 pm on August 24, the company has reportedly registered around six million pre-bookings so far.

After being flooded with the pre-orders, the company might find it tough to send out the phones to the registered customers before the deadline, but the latest media reports suggest that the delivery of first order will begin on September 21 on the pious occasion of Navratri.

No official confirmation for the same has yet been made by the company.

Currently, the Jio app and Jio website are not showing any details about when JioPhone again go open for pre-bookings. "We will inform you when pre-booking resumes," says the message on the Reliance Jio website.
