Public Survey: select the worst Information Commissioner
Lucknow: In a first of its kind public survey, a social organisation of the state capital will select the worst Information Commissioner.
The survey has been aimed to expose the Information Commissioner who is functioning against the interest of Right To Information (RTI) act and victimising the social activists.The name of the selected one will sent to the Governor with a request to dismiss him or her.
The open meeting will take place in the historical GPO park in lucknow on Saturday next. Various social and RTI activists will participate in the day-long meeting, the convenor Urvashi Sharma informed.
At present there are one Chief Information Commissioner Javed Usmani along with nine ICs namely Arvind Singh Bisht, Gajendra Yadav,Kahdijaitul Kubra, Paras Nath Gupta,Hafiz Usman,Rajkeshwar Singh, Vijjay Shankar Sharma,Swadesh Kumar and Haidar Abbas Rizvi.
