Gorakhpur: The chefs at the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur are all set to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi with their delicious ‘desi’ snacks. The chefs are trying their best to garnish the platter of Modi with Dhokla, Daliya, Gulab Jamun, Dahi Vada and Mattha (buttermilk).

According to the official sources, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the temple on July 22 and would stay here for around 20 minutes. A team of chefs will also come from Delhi to make his meals. Modi would be taking Mattha as Prasad at the temple.

Fruits have been ordered from outside while Rabri, Gulab Jamun and Shreekhand will also be prepared for the special guest, sources added.

Official sources here said that a team of 19 food safety officers have been assigned to test the food of Modi while three additional Chief Medical Officers (CMO) have also been asked to inspect the quality of food.
