PM Modi to distribute e-rickshaws in Varanasi, on labour day
Varanasi: Prime Minister is all set to make his constituency a hi-fi zone.
On his next visit to Varanasi, on labour day, Narendra Modi will be distributing more than 1000 e-rickshaws to the beneficiaries, in 'chaupals' in DLW ground.
The Prime Minister will also distribute e-boats on the his visit. These e-boats are designed to reduce the pollution in the river Ganga.
Highlights:
- There will be five 'chaupals' and it is expected that every chaupal will have 15 people in them.
- PM will visit each 'chaupal' and will discuss the experience of people using e-rickshaws.
- PM Modi will distribute the e-rickshaws and e-boats to the beneficiaries during this visit.
- The e-rickshaw service in Varanasi will also be available online.
- The company manufacturing these rickshaws provide insurance cover to the rickshaw driver and his family.
- The e-boats distributed by PM are designed to be noise and smoke free, which will prevent the holy river getting polluted.
