Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday arrived at Mamallapuram to hold informal talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

PM Modi was sighted on Saturday morning walking down the beach in Mamallapuram where he stayed for almost half an hour initiating a plogging exercise. During this, he picked up the trash lying at the beach.

Modi-Xi informal meet to continue on Saturday

Taking to his twitter handle, PM Modi wrote, "Plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram this morning. It lasted for over 30 minutes."

"Also handed over my ‘collection’ to Jeyaraj, who is a part of the hotel staff. Let us ensure our public places are clean and tidy! Let us also ensure we remain fit and healthy," he further added.

Modi takes a refreshing walk along the scenic coast in Mamallapuram

The Prime Minister is hosting Chinese President Xi Jinping during the 2nd informal summit between India-China.

PM Modi arrived in Mamallapuram on Friday and held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The talks lasted for several hours, its main focus being trade and terror.
