OMG! Man survives 40 ft flip in air after being hit by a car

London: In what can be called as a most bizzare accident, a 53-year old man miraculously survived after being hit by a car which sent him flying 40 ft in the air.

The horrifying CCTV footage shows the quinquagenarian man being thrown off his feet as he was crossing the road in Kemptown area of Brighton city.

The driver of the car managed to flee away from the spot leaving the man lying injured on the road.

• The accident occured on January 14 last.
• Police has now released the CCTV footage to nab the accused.
• The pedestrian flipped as much as 40 ft in the air after being hit by the car.
• He was left lying injured in the middle of road.
