Nurses protest against Kapil for their vulgar portrayal in KSS

Chandigarh: Stand up comedian and actor Kapil Sharma’s television program – The Kapil Sharma Show (KSS) – is in the spotlight again. It is, however, making news for wrong reasons this time.

Lately, the nursing staff from various medical colleges and hospitals of Amritsar in Punjab staged protests against the humourist’s show for allegedly projecting nurses in a vulgar manner.

Highlights:

• Actor Rochelle Rao plays a sexy nurse while Kiku Sharda plays an obese one in the show.
• A complaint has been filed against Kapil at an Amritsar police station.
• The nurses and nursing students feel that the show has demeaned their profession by objectifying them.
• The nurses’ union in Amritsar is planning to file a defamation case against the comedian.
