Kanpur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah demanded on Saturday resignation of UP Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav alleging that he had links with Jawaharbagh incident.

“There is no law and order in the state ruled by the Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh. In fact the state is low on order. If Akhilesh wants to maintain ‘uncle-son’ relationship at the cost of the state he should leave politics,” said Shah at a rally at Kanpur.

  • Shah also accused the Samajwadi Party of sheltering corrupt and mafias.
  • Name of a senior UP minister is also being linked to Mathura violence.
