New Delhi: Following the scrapping of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes imposed by the government of India from midnight today, the Reserve Bank of India has announced to launch new Rs 500 and Rs 2000 notes from November 10.

Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das, during a press brief here on Tuesday, unveiled the new currency notes which are completely different from the old ones.
