Pak PM Nawaz Sharif resumes duties against advice of doctors

Islamabad: Ignoring the advice of doctors, Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on Thursday returned to the national capital to resume his official duties.

“Doctors have advised the Premier to take rest and not to travel before Sunday as he suffered from an infection in his leg after one of his arteries was used in his open-heart surgery,” said Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid in a statement and added, “the PM is also down with fever but the condition is not serious.”

The Premier’s daughter Maryam Nawaz posted his photographs sitting in an aircraft on micro blogging site Twitter and later, she tweeted his picture working in office.
