Mumbai: The police of Mumbai on Wednesday claimed to have detained a man hailing from Delhi for leaking Bollywood flick ‘Udta Punjab’ on internet prior to its official release.

“Dipak Kumar was apprehended after he was found to be linked with illegal ‘Torrent’ upload of the film. He was further interrogated by the cyber cell of the police,” said a source from Cyber Police Station of Mumbai.

“The film was leaked on two separate links of torrent.com. It was revealed after downloading the movie that the first sensor copy was stolen and uploaded on the website by user ‘robby007’,” said a statement by Mumbai police.
