Lucknow: The Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha is all set to become new Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) president of Uttar Pradesh.

According to highly placed sources, Sinha is referred, for the UP president’s post, by Party President Amit Shah and Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi.

About Manoj Sinha:

He was a member of the National Council from 1989 to 1996.

He was elected to Lok Sabha in 1996, 1999 and 2014.

He was among the best performing Members of Parliament of the 13th Lok Sabha with a very high attendance.

He used all the money allotted to a parliament member for public welfare, which is rare.
