MIG-27 aircraft crashes in a residential area of Jodhpur

Jodhpur: At least three people were injured when a MIG-27 aircraft reportedly crashed in a residential area in Jodhpur of Rajasthan, on Monday damaging two houses.

Both the pilots ejected and landed safely, seconds before it crashed.

Initial reports suggest it was a training flight as there were two pilots.

The flight reportedly crashed near airbase soon after takeoff. Court of inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

The area has been cordoned off and police officials have reached the spot.
