Bulandshahr: Rajkumar alias Chunman, who was convicted in a murder case in 1991, has set a sort of record by writing 9 books in the jail.

His passion of spreading knowledge in the world is not just confined to writing books as he also teaches his jail inmates. He got married to a divorcee daughter of one of his inmates in 2005.

Was convicted in a murder case:

  • Rajkumar was jailed in 1989 in a murder case.
  • He murdered the Gram Pradhan of his village.
  • He hails from Nayabaas village of the district.
  • He murdered the Pradhan getting fed up from atrocities.
  • He was on the run for 9 years after the crime before he surrendered in 2000.
