Lucknow: The city of elegance and pride, recently, presented another example of its culture of respecting each and every person regardless of gender, sex, race or any other discrimination.

Uttar Pradesh's capital has now joined the club of cities who put humanity before the sexual status. Eight years after India had put forward its first Pride Parade (in Kolkata), the nawabi city too came forward to show its warmth to all the bisexuals, gays and lesbians.

Lucknow held its first Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer and Asexual - Pride Parade on Sunday last. In a proud moment for the state, the LGBTIQA members were also joined by their family members and a large number of citiites, who came out in support of the participants.

The Lucknow people not only gathered to encourage them but also cheered for LGBTIQA members to show their love and respect towards them.

Newstrack.com brings you some interesting pictures from the parade.
