London School of Economics appoints Angelina Jolie as professor

London: Veteran Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie Pitt has been appointed as a visiting professor alongside Lord William Jefferson Hague at the London School of economics (LSE).

“The course will be run by its centre for women, peace and security and it was launched by Ms Jolie and Mr Hague,” said a statement by LSE.

“I am looking forward to teaching as well as learning from the students. I would love to share my own experiences of working with the government and United nation,” said ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ fame actor in a statement.

Highlights:

• Jolie and Hague co-founded a global initiative to tackle sexual violence in conflict zones in 2012.
• The former foreign secretary Hague will also join LSE as a visiting lecturer.
