Here is a great news for UP people and others that State is all set to own a film city. Today UP CM Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with Bollywood celebrities and officials. Everybody welcomed CM Yogi's initiative. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday announced that the ‘biggest’ Film City in India will be built near Hastinapur area on the Yamuna Expressway.

CM Yogi discussed the proposal with leading Bollywood celebs:

In a virtual meeting with several leading members of the film industry, the UP CM discussed his proposal for the new film city. CM Yogi asserted that the film city “will become the symbol of India’s identity”.

Key Points of Today's meeting:

1. About 1000 acres land

Arunveer, CEO, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, while making a presentation regarding the proposed Film City, said that it will develop on about 1,000 acres of land in Yamuna Expressway Sector-21.

2. Film city park

Out of this, 220 acres will be reserved for commercial activity. It is 60 km from Mathura-Vrindavan and 100 km from Agra. Authority will develop the necessary infrastructure for Film City here as well as Film City Park on 35 acres.

3. Near Asia's largest Airport

Asia's largest Jewar international airport is close by. It will also be ready soon. It is also planned to be connected to metro, rapid rail transport system and high speed train.

4. A great source of income:

Uttar Pradesh will give a gift to the world by giving impetus to this tradition by developing a grand, divine and well-equipped full film city that meets your needs. All your suggestions for its development are welcome.

5. Opportunities to local talent:

Films have introduced the world to our Indian culture. It is a mirror of society. In such a situation, in order to promote film production and to provide special opportunities to local talent, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to establish Modern Film City and Infotainment Zone in the state, CM Yogi said.

6. World class facilities:

The Chief Minister said that the establishment of World Class Civil and Public Amenities in Film City is proposed. It will be our endeavor to develop this as a best dedicated dedicated infotainment zone.

7. World class data centre:

The coming time is of OTT and media streaming. For this, a high capacity, world class data center will also be established in the infotainment zone. CM said that we are considering the smooth and full-proof arrangement for content distribution as well as the facility of tax exemption.

8. CM invited everybody's idea:

In order to make our efforts more useful, profitable and comprehensive in this direction, we are inviting suggestions from all over the world. Through dialogue, you get an opportunity to understand each other's needs and fulfill them.

9. UP has historical places as asset:

Uttar Pradesh is a focal point of Indian culture. From the ancient mythological period to the early period, the state has contributed in the freedom struggle of the country. Here is the birthplace of Lord Rama to Shri Krishna. Prayagraj, the confluence of Ganga-Yamuna is also here.”

10. Employment to many:

Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in the country in terms of population. A population of 24 crores resides here. It borders Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Delhi. Apart from this, the border of Nepal also meets the state.”
