Jaipur family court grants divorce to IAS couple Tina Dabi & Athar Khan

New Delhi: 2015 UPSC topper IAS Tina Dabi is divorced from ISS husband Athar Khan. Athar was also the second UPSC topper in 2015. Both had filed for divorce in the family court in November last year on the basis of mutual consent. Athar Khan, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir, married Rajasthan cadre officer Tina Dabi in 2018.

End of the love story:

After two years of marriage, both of them had decided to divorce. Now the family court of Jaipur has given permission for divorce to both of them on 10th August. Tina Dabi is a Rajasthan cadre officer. At the same time, Athar has also been a Rajasthan cadre officer. However, he was sent to Jammu and Kashmir earlier this year on inter-cadre deputation for a period of three years.

Now after getting divorced from Athar, Tina Dabi has written a post regarding this on social media. She wrote, 'People will talk about you. It doesn't matter what you're doing. You should do what makes you happy and live your life better.'

Tina Dabi topped UPSC in 2015. Athar was at second position. After this, the friendship took place during the training of IAS. The two first met in 2016 during a felicitation ceremony at the DoPT office in North Block. The meetings between the two increased from here. Tina Dabi surprised everyone by suddenly announcing her engagement to Athar.

This couple was always in buzz after their marriage.Their wedding reception was attended by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Union Ministers and then Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan in Delhi.
