Internet is like a 'carnivorous plant', says Julia Stiles

Los Angeles: Actress Julia Stiles has slammed the people, who trolled her on social media for holding her newborn son Strummer the wrong way in a carrier. She said internet is like a carnivorous plant.

"It was brought to my attention that in the previous photograph I am not holding my baby correctly. Wow, I didn't expect that," Stiles wrote on Instagram on Friday.

And it was just a photo taken at home, not how I normally carry him around. Thanks for the concern, anyway. Yes, Mothers, always read the safety instructions. But also, Instagrammers: instead of writing snarky comments about a 5 week old, try dancing around your living room to a Clash record. It's way more fun.

The 36-year-old, who welcomed her first child in October, promoted a front baby carrier in a post she shared on Wednesday. In the image, she can be seen holding her son with his legs tucked up inside the pouch.

I haven't worn a back pack since middle school.
