I am sure that BJP will form majority govt in 2017: K P Maurya
Allahabad: Almost a year ahead of the 2017 assembly polls, the newly-appointed Uttar Pradesh president of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Keshav Prasad Maurya, said that he was assured of BJP’s victory in the next assembly polls.
“Keeping in mind the pre-poll scenario of the state, I am quite confident that the BJP will form a majority government after the 2017 assembly elections, winning more than 265 seats,” said the UP BJP president in Allahabad of UP on Thursday.
- Attacking the BSP Chief Mayawati, the UP BJP president said that she was anxious about the BJP being the cynosure of all eyes.
- He also said that the BSP Chief should better use her brains to find a way out of the jeopardy that had recently arisen on her part, instead of making election agendas.
