What Hrithik Roshan said about Bengaluru molestation incident?
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan on Thursday condemned the mass molestation of women in presence of heavy police force in Bengaluru on New Year's eve saying that he felt extremely sorry that the incident happened.
The groping of women on Bengaluru's MG Road and Brigade Road has turned into a nationwide outrage.
Hrithik appealed people of the country to take responsibility and do something to eradicate such incidents. "It is sad. We all bear a responsibility and we all must do something about that," he said.
"I feel very strongly, as a father, as a member of the society, that if something like this is happening in an environment so close to me, then I definitely must be impacted, must be affected and I must do something about it," he said.
The actor made the statement at the launch of song 'Mon Amour' from his forthcoming flick 'Kaabil'.
Several Bollywood celebs, including Akshay Kumar and Farhan Akhtar, have expressed sheer disappointment over the Bengaluru incident.
