Hilarious! When UP cops screamed 'thain-thain' instead of shooting bullets

Lucknow: Well, it was not a game of 'Chor-police' that we used to play during our childhood but it was an actual encounter between Uttar Pradesh Police and criminals in Sambhal district, on Saturday.

Due to the jammed gun the cops were forced to mimic the sound of 'Thain Thain' to scare the criminals.

In the below video, you can see Assistant Superintendent of Police shouting 'Thain-thain', maaro, ghero while another police man was seen struggling to open fire as the cartridges in his revolver got stuck.

Th ASP said that the reason behind his mimic sound was to create mental pressure on the miscreants.

Finally, the police were able to arrest one of the criminals by shooting on his leg while one policeman was also injured during the encounter.

The search for other criminals is still on.
