Gyancharan Dinkar selected as the new leader of opposition

Lucknow: Gayacharan Dinkar was today selected by Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) as leader of opposition in Uttar Pradesh assembly.

The decision to this effect was taken at the meeting of BSP legislature party chaired by BSP supremo Mayawati, on Saturday afternoon. The post of leader of opposition had fallen vacant after Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from the post on June 23 last.

Dinkar is a sitting MLA from Naraini assembly seat in Banda district.
