Daljinder Kaur of Punjab becomes mother at the age of 72

Amritsar: It better late than never. It is proved right for 72-year old Daljinder Kaur who became mother after 46 years of her marriage with Mohinder Singh Gill..thanks to IVF technique.

Daljinder Kaur underwent In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment in fertility clinic at Hisar and was able to produce a male child on April 19 last. They named their baby Armaan.

Born in Rasulpur village of Tarn Taran district of Punjab, she got married to Mohinder Singh of Gilwali village on October 7, 1970. Her husband is an agriculturist and has leased out his land in Kharar while he lives in Amritsar.

"There were two failed attempts, but finally I have my baby," the 72-year happy mother said.
