Mexico City: Alike Switzerland and United States, Mexico on Thursday extended support to India’s bid to join the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the country.

“Mexico was the first Latin American country to recognize India,” said PM Modi while focusing on the warm ties between the two countries and added, “the country is also an important partner for India’s energy security. We are looking forward to moving beyond the buyer-seller relationship and into long-term partnership.”
