BRAIN:
- Alcohol effects the brain’s communication pathways.
- It effects the work of brain.
- These disruptions change mood and behaviour and make it harder to move with coordination.
HEART:
- Drinking excessive over a long time on a single occasion damage the heart including Cardiomyopathy.
- Cardiomyopathy can be defined as the stretching and drooping of heart muscles.
- Excessive drinking can also cause Arrhythmias.
- Alcohol also causes stroke and high blood pressure.
Research also shows that drinking alcohol in moderate amount may protect healthy adult from developing coronary heart diseases.
LIVER:
- Heavy drinking leads to variety of problems and liver inflammations including fatty liver or Steatosis.
- Alcoholic hepatitis.
