New Delhi: Akshay Mittal, the 13-year-old boy who created the website ‘odd-even.com’, has sold his company to carpool app ‘orahi.com’ for an undisclosed amount. The website was launched in December 2015 by a class nine student anticipating the odd-even vehicle rule implemented by the Delhi government in January 2016 to control pollution.

According to the contract, Akshay will be the part of Company's technical advisory for a certain period of time.

How odd-even.com can make ‘travelling’ easy:

  • The website will help commuters to identify the partners with whom they can share rides.
  • It will ask for information like source, destination, time, registration number of a car and the type of car.
  • The website will provide you possible matches with whom you can share your ride, once you are registered.
  • Commuters will also be given an option to connect offline.
  • The mobile application will soon be available.
