Lucknow: No matter we are living in 21st century but even today the transgender community is being neglected by our society. The community of transsexual is bullied, torcherd and cursed by our very own society.

They are being treated like they don't exist for us. But, there are few people of this (transgender) community who raised above all the barriers and proved that before being a transgender they are a human being just like all of us.

Here we have compiled a list of few Transgenders who earned their name and fame and are ruling over the society:

Santa Khurai

Santa Khurai is a famous transgender activist of Manipur. She set up the first beauty salon which is now run by a trans person. She also founded the All Manipur Nupi Manbi Association (AMANA), a coalition working towards raising awareness of the rights of the transgender community.
