Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar tie the knot as per South Indian rituals

Mouni Roy is all over the news these days for her wedding with beau Suraj Nambiar. The couple has been dating each other for a while and took the plunge in a grand ceremony in Goa.

And while the wedding festivities had begun on January 26, as per the recent update, Mouni and Suraj have tied the knot as per South Indian rituals in the presence of their respective family members and close friends. It was a traditional South Indian wedding with the bride and groom opting for a traditional look for the D-Day.

To note, Mouni had opted for a traditional white and red coloured saree and was dressed like a typical south Indian bride with gold bangles, choker necklace, maang tika with a headband, kamarbandh and real floral accessories for her hair. She was undoubtedly a sight to behold in her bridal look. Suraj, on the other hand, complemented his bride well in his brown coloured kurta with dhoti. While the videos from the wedding ceremony have been going viral on social media, Arjun Bijlani had also shared a pic of the newlyweds wherein Suraj couldn't take his eyes off his new bride. He had captioned the image as, "Mr and Mrs Nambiar".

According to media reports, Suraj and Mouni will also be tying the knot as per the Bengali rituals in the evening. While they were planning to host a grand wedding reception for their friends in Mumbai post the wedding, they have reportedly cancelled the idea in wake of rise in COVID 19 cases.
