Delhi government lists six manufacturers

The Delhi government has listed six manufacturers including Etrio, Buma, Zero 21 Energy Solution and Welsh Motors India to convert old petrol and diesel vehicles into electric. Certified by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), these manufacturers have electric kits with different battery capacities for two, three and four wheelers. What will be the specialty of these electric kits?

According to reports, electric kits of Atrio automobiles can be used for four wheelers of both petrol and diesel. It will use a battery of 17.3 kW, which will be able to provide a range of more than 106 km. Buma Innovative Transport Solutions Renewable Petrol, on the other hand, will introduce electric kits for two wheelers. It will be able to provide a battery capacity of 2.016 kW and a range of up to 65.86 km.

How much will it cost to convert a simple car into an electric car?

It costs Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh to convert a simple car into an electric one. The same price depends entirely on how many Watts Power motors and how much capacity batteries you install. Most of the companies that install such kits are in Hyderabad, but now the company's manufacturing electric car parts are expanding rapidly in Delhi as well.
