Videocon launches Krypton 22; check price, features

New Delhi: Domestic mobile manufacturer Videocon on Tuesday unveiled Krypton 22 smartphone at a price tag of Rs 7,200.

The handset has come with a feature of 'IR Blaster' which will allow its user to control televisions, set-top boxes, stereo sound systems, air conditioners and DVD players.

"Videocon's vision has been to come up with products that not just meet consumers' needs but exceed their expectations. With Krypton 22, we want to make sure that this new product delights our consumers in every way," Akshay Dhoot, Head of Technology and Innovation, Videocon, said in a statement.

Key features and specifications:

• Krypton 22 is powered with 2GB of RAM.
• The handset offers 1-year subscription of Eros Now and 1 full version Gameloft game.
• It has come with two new features including SOS-Be-Safe and panic button.
• SOS-Be-Safe feature will inform about the exact location of the user.
• One can also access hybrid pen drives and SD cards.
• It has come with a pre-installed app- Shoto which will organise user's photo and videos.

Other features are yet to be revealed.
