New Delhi: Amid the global pressure, South Korean giant Samsung has ordered to put a stop on the production of Galaxy Note 7 after its replaced devices had caught fire.

It could be mentioned here that several handsets of Galaxy Note 7 exploded after which Samsung had requested owners of the Note 7 to swap their devices with new ones for a replacement of the devices. But, further reports said that replaced devices also caught fire which left Samsung in dilemma.

Earlier, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had banned the use of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 while travelling via flights.

“In light of the recent incidents involving battery incidents with Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7 devices globally, traveling public and airlines are advised not to switch on these mobiles during the flight or store them in any checked in baggage,” DGCA had said in an issued order.
