Microsoft to end its support for Windows 10; CHECK DETAILS!
Tech giant Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025.
Mumbai: Tech giant Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025. It is expected that by the end of this month, Windows will be launched with a new version which can potentially be called Windows 11.
Microsoft will stop support to Windows 10:
The new Windows will include Windows 10 Home Pro and Pro editions for education and work stations. On Microsoft's Windows 10 Home and Pro Lifecycle Policy page, the company said it would continue to support at least one Windows 10 semi-annual channel until October 14, 2025.
This means that the tech giant will not release any more updates and security fixes after that date. However, the company's recent teaser confirmed that it will likely launch Windows 11 by the end of this month. Microsoft has confirmed this through its official Twitter handle. Windows 11 is expected to get a major UI overhaul.
"Soon we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators. I've been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I'm incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows," Satya Nadella said.
