In this situation, Whatsapp decided to reduce the duration of status videos. In past we were allowed to upload a video of 30 sec but now it is only 15 sec. This will help networks to handle the huge traffic. With this users will be able to use internet smoothly. Net speed and Data connection related problems will decrease after this.

Whatsapp usage increased during Lock down: According to media reports, the usage of WhatsApp has increased by 40% due to the lock down. Also, this has put pressure on the data network. On the other hand, the use of video streaming apps has also increased rapidly these days. But video streaming companies have also reduced the quality of content, so that more data is not used.

Video quality changed by servers: After this decision netizens will also not allowed to spread fake news. These changes will help the community to see only real content as well. For your information, let us tell you that the Cellular Operators Association of India demanded OTT companies to ban streaming of HD and HD Plus content through mobile networks, after which video streaming companies like Hoster, Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube It was decided to show the video in standard definition only during Lock Down.
