NEW DELHI: Chinese handset maker LeTV, which is recently renamed as LeEco, has forayed into the Indian smartphone market with the launch of LeEco Max smartphone.

The company's flagship model, Le Max Sapphire features a sapphire glass display that is shockproof and extremely hard to crack. This ultra-smart cellphone has been priced at Rs 69,999 which makes it more expensive than the latest iPhone 6S, which is available for Rs 62,000 for the base variant. The company said that a limited stock 1000 pieces would be sold in India.
