JioMart launches service via WhatsApp facility in these areas
New Delhi: Reliance has also started testing its online shopping portal a few days after the recent agreement between Reliance Industries Limited-RIL’s JIO platform and Facebook. In fact, under the agreement with Facebook, JioMart has started offering its services to customers through Facebook-owned WhatsApp.
According to reports JioMart is an e-commerce venture of Reliance Retail. Currently, jioMart is providing its services in Navi Mumbai, Kalyan and Thane in Mumbai.
Service available in these areas:
JioMart has released a WhatsApp Number (88500 08000) to provide its service through WhatsApp in Navi Mumbai, Kalyan and Thane near Mumbai. People living in these three areas can communicate on this WhatsApp Number and can order groceries for their house online. However, JioMart has not started the home delivery facility at an early stage. For this, customers will have to go to the store to take their order.
Process to place the order:
To order grocery goods online, first save this WhatsApp Number (88500 08000). After this, a link will come from this number on WhatsApp of the customer. The time limit of which will be for half an hour i.e. 30 minutes. You have to submit some information by clicking on this link. After this, a list of goods will be sent by JioMart, from which customers will be able to order the goods they need.
After the customer has prepared the list of goods, their order will be sent to the nearby grocery store or JioMart store. At the same time, when the customer’s order is ready, they will get its information through WhatsApp.
