Till now a user could appreciate his work only by retweeting or liking his work, but now if you really like someone's work then you can give them a tip (Twitter Tips). The 'Tips' feature was earlier rolled out by Twitter for its iOS users with a limited base but now Android users can also use it.

The Twitter Tips Feature lets you send and receive payments online and even make payments in cryptocurrency. You can find the 'Tips' icon right next to the follow button on the Twitter profile page.

Tips supports payment platforms such as Bandcamp, CashApp, Chipper, Patreon, Razorpay, Wealthsimple Cash and Venmo

Here's how you can use Tips:

Go to your own profile.

Click on 'Edit Profile' and scroll down to 'Tips' and click on it and accept 'General Tipping Policy' to activate the service.

Then select 'Allow' and select third party payment option with your username

If you want to tip someone, make sure their tips icon is activated. If it is activated, then only you will be directed to third party service for payment. Once you are redirected, you can choose the amount and make the payment.
