New Delhi: Apple has introduced a new security feature called Security Lockout Mode. With the help of this feature, users will be able to format or reset their iPhone or iPad even in the locked state without connecting to the laptop.

iPhone Security Feature:

The new feature comes with the update for iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2. You will get the option of the new feature only if you enter the wrong password several times. One condition with the new feature is that this feature will work only when your phone is connected to a cellular or Wi-Fi network.

Apple iPhone new update:

Currently, users have to connect to a computer or Mac to reset or format a locked iPhone or iPad. The new feature was first reported by 9to5Mac. Apart from this, information about the new feature has also been given on Apple's support page.

The point to note here is that no one else or thieves can take the wrong advantage of this feature, because you will be asked for Apple ID and password to reset or format. In this process, the entire data of the iPhone or iPad will be deleted.

With the iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 updates, Apple has also released the App Privacy Report and Apple Music Voice Plan. Users of iPhone with iOS 15.2 will get subscription based music service. In this, users will get 90 million songs. The monthly plan of Apple Voice Music in India is priced at Rs 49.
