Airtel vs Jio: Bharti-Airtel beats Jio by adding 4.3 million new customers

New Delhi: Airtel has been continuously benefiting for the last two months. In November 2020, Airtel has added 4.3 million new customers, beating Jio. Its information has been found in the new report of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai).

Earlier in October, Airtel left Jio behind in terms of adding new customers. In October 2020, Airtel added 36.7 lakh new customers, while Jio received 2.2.2 million new customers.

Airtel added 43 lakh new customer:

According to the new TRAI report, Airtel added 43 lakh new customers in November 2020, while Jio got only 19 lakh new customers. If seen, the performance of Jio is continuously falling. In October, where Jio had received 22.2 lakh new customers, in November it has got only 19 lakh. On the other hand, Vodafone has suffered a lot. Vodafone Idea lost 28 lakh subscribers in November.

Airtel on top:

With 43 lakh new users received in November, the total number of subscribers of Airtel has increased to 33.46 crores. Also, the report also showed that Airtel has more number of active users than any other company. Talking about the customer market share, Jio's share has increased by 35.34 per cent and Airtel's by 28.97 per cent, while Vodafone has lost up to 25.10 per cent.

Jio is the first in India with 40.82 crore users, Airtel is second with 33.46 crore subscribers and Vodafone Idea is third with 28.99 crore subscribers. Jio recently said that after that there is 41.1 million user base.

Airtel has announced 5G Ready Network in India on January 28 itself. Airtel has successfully performed live 5G service commercially in Hyderabad. In such a situation, Airtel has become the first telecom company in the country to perform 5G live. Airtel has partnered with Ericsson for a 5G network in India.
