New Delhi: To counter Reliance Jio Happy New Year offer of free voice call and 4G data, telecom major Airtel on Thursday launched two top-up cards for free voice calls on any network across India.

In its offering for the prepaid customers, Rs 345 top-up card (price for Delhi circle) will provide free voice calls to any network across India. In addition a 1GB 4G Data will be provided to customers having 4G enabled handsets.

Another pack of Rs 145 will provide Free voice call across India to Airtel users. In addition to this, customers will also get a 300MB of 4G Data.

Both packs have the validity of a month, i.e. 28 days. The rates, however, may vary from circle to circle.

Jio had announced extension of free domestic voice calls and data till March 31, 2017. Even after March, the company would offer free calls for life to its 4G customers.
