New Petrol Engine:
However, the company's flagship car Maruti Suzuki S-Cross was never included in this list. Previously this car came with a FIAT 1.3 liter turbocharged diesel engine.
This car is getting tremendous response. The company has registered a tremendous jump of 101.73 per cent in the sale of this car.
BS6 with new norms:
Let me tell you, this car of Maruti used to come with diesel engine option first. But now after the introduction of BS6 Norms in India, the company has launched this car with a petrol engine. In September itself, this car has sold 2,098 units, which is more than the sale of the old diesel model.
Power with engine
S-Cross only with Petrol engine :
Talk about its engine and power, the new s-cross petrol has a 1.5 liter K15B petrol engine which generates a maximum power of 103 bhp and a peak torque of 138 newton meters. This car is equipped with a 5-speed manual and a four-speed automatic gear box.
Let us know that, like other cars of Maruti, now the S-Cross will also not get the option of diesel engine. This means, where earlier the S-Cross was only a diesel model, now it will be only a petrol model.
Variants of Maruti S-Cross:
Maruti's new S-Cross petrol has been launched in four variants - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The automatic gearbox is available in the top three variants, that is, there is no automatic option in the Sigma variant. . At the same time, now the petrol model will get mild-hybrid system only in the automatic version.
