The Supreme Court directed the Central Board of Secondary Education, to file an affidavit on students' plea seeking cancellation of Compartment exams.

The Supreme Court on July 31 adjourned the matter pertaining to the plea against the UGC decision on mandatorily conducting final year examinations till August 10.
