In view of the board exams in Delhi, currently only schools for students of 10th and 12th are being opened, while in Rajasthan, 9 to 12th grade schools are being opened.
Apart from the schools, coaching institutes, medical, engineering and other degree colleges in Bihar has been allowed to reopen from January 4.
Ramesh Pokhriyal recently said as the board exams are near, various states have reopened their schools maintaining the COVID-19 safety protocols.
The court directed district administration of all districts to regularly inspect all the private and government schools and see that COVID-19 guidelines sanitization and wearing of masks are followed in schools.

After proper consideration by the government, it was decided that classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 of all boards outside containment zones will be resumed, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said.
Directives have also been issued to continue online teaching and encouraging it. Priority should be given to calling those students to school who do not have access to online teaching.
