The Meteorological Department has reported that temperatures in Punjab, Haryana and North Rajasthan will fall and cold wave may prevail.

There are chances of rain also. In such a situation, due to continuous rain, snowfall, the weather may remain very cold for the next 3-4 days.

Snowfall occurred in the upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, while rain in the plains. Snowfall in the mountains has increased the cold.

While there is heavy snowfall on the mountains due to which the cold has increased. In the coming days, temperature may fall further in the coming four days in UP.

 A low pressure area, the third in a month, formed over the Bay of Bengal on Tuesday and it is expected to bring heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal in the next three days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Flood like situation can be seen in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. IMD predicts heavy to very heavy rain for next 48 hours.

On Wednesday morninng, many states of the country, including many districts of Uttar Pradesh, received heavy rainfall.

 Seasonal torrential rains have claimed at least 125 lives in Pakistan and injured 71 others in the last two and a half months since the monsoon began in the country, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
