J&K: BSF officer killed in ceasefire violation

Ever since the abrogation of Article 370 last year, there have been spurt in incidents of ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops along the borders.

The slain militants were members of a Jaish-e-Mohammad group that infiltrated into the Union Territory from across the International Border in Samba sector.

In the ensuing firefight, two more terrorists were killed. The Indian side also saw three more casualties. Two of the injured soldiers have been evacuated.
