Indian Meteorological Department has informed that there may be rain in many areas of Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The Meteorological Department has issued a high alert regarding the storm. Several NDRF teams have been deployed in the affected states to deal with the storm.
As early as November, light cold has started in Delhi NCR. According to the Meteorological Department, fog will increase further in Delhi and NCR in the coming days.
Winter has entered all regions of North India rapidly. The cold winds in the plains have forced people to wear woolen clothes.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura. Apart from rain in these states, strong winds can also occur.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the Western Disturbance, rain and light snowfall may occur in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Ladakh.
In the past, almost all the states of the south have been affected by the monsoon rains. At the same time, the first snowfall is also recorded in Gulmarg, Kashmir.
Due to this low pressure, light to moderate rain and thunder showers may occur in many districts of South Bengal.
