A fake DU notice saying that the university will reopen for normal classes in physical mode from January 3 is in circulation.

Applicants who have taken admission (including NCWEB) at a DU College are not eligible to participate in the 2nd special cut-off admissions, Delhi University said.

The varsity has already released seven cut-off lists and two special lists for admission at the undergraduate level.

For the special cut-off list, the admissions process will begin on November 24 and will only remain active till 1 pm on November 25.

The colleges will approve the applicants selected under a special cut-off list by 5 pm on November 26.

Despite high cut-offs this year, most of the seats have already been filled at the varsity. Several courses have been closed at the university.

This year, the entire DU admission process is being held online due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Overall, over 80 per cent seats have already been filled after the second round of admission. Courses which remain open have not seen major drops in percentage.
