Heavy rains may begin in many states of South India from December 1. Coastal and northern areas of Tamil Nadu may receive rains from December 1 to December 3.

Nivar storm has now come to a halt after the devastation in the southern states. But due to its effect, there is a possibility of heavy rains with strong winds in many cities of the country.

Along with this, heavy rains are seen in many districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Winds are moving at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour.
