Apart from Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party, which is very active in giving a statement on the country's politics, has once again questioned the poor law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh.
In a politically significant development in Rajasthan, all six Bahujan Samaj Party MLAs have given a letter to the state assembly speaker to merge the legislative party with the Congress.
In a series of tweets, Mayawati said: "It is well known that Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar was in favour of equality, unity and integrity of the country. Hence, he was not in favour of the separate provision of Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir. Because of this, BSP had supported its scrapping in the Parliament."
In another related tweet, Mayawati said,"The tradition of BSP and its people not to take the law in their hands is completely intact even today, whereas it is common for other parties and organisations. We should not harm innocent people in the honour of our saints, gurus and great men."
The Lok Sabha election and the 2017 UP Assembly election were rather triangular, where the Samajwadi Party had a tie-up with the Congress (in 2017 UP Assembly polls) or the BSP (2019 Lok Sabha election).
Talking about SP- BSP tie-up, Sharad said that is a right step that was taken in the wake of eradicating the central government. Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party heads have taken a good decision and this will give a big challenge to BJP.
Sadhana's infamous comment has been criticized by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav as he called it a disgrace for women across the country and said that this comment shows BJP's desperation and nervousness from the alliance.
As per reports, Akhilesh reached Mayawati's residence lat eveing, where they both discussed about the alliance and the allotment of seats.
